Your responsibilities will include:
- Translate business and functional requirements into solution designs, both high-level and detailed.
- Define architecture components, integrations, data flows and non-functional requirements such as security, performance and resilience.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, standards and roadmaps.
- Assess technology options and build-versus-buy decisions, and document architecture decisions.
- Support development and infrastructure teams during implementation, and review designs.
- Present and defend solutions in architecture boards and to stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a solution architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns such as APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture and messaging.
- Experience with cloud platforms (mainly Azure) and with hybrid environments.
- Good understanding of security, IAM and data architecture principles.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluent English, French and/or Dutch.
Nice to have:
- TOGAF, cloud architect, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as banking, payments, securities or insurance.
- Knowledge of modelling tools such as ArchiMate, Sparx EA or LeanIX.
