Tasks for this strategic Enterprise Business Architecture role include: developing a long-term strategic vision for various technology topics, translating that vision into a concrete project plan, and supporting solution designers in their projects. Additionally, you will guide business colleagues and assist in developing a business architecture. More details below.

As a Enterprise Business Architect, you will:

  • Translate this vision into a more concrete project plan
  • Develop a long-term strategy vision for various technology topics
  • Support the solution designers within their projects
  • Provide guidance to business colleagues and help develop business architecture.
  • Depending on your profile, you can work in one of the domains in banking and insurance. Within your assigned domain, you work on the development of the domain architecture.
  • Respect, promote, optimise and contribute to our architecture Governance (principles, processes, documentation, modelling, etc.) and ensure that the maturity and independence of the IT colleagues grows in terms of developing the solution architecture.
  • Participate in the strategic dossiers
  • Work closely with Business and IT teams
  • Monitor market trends and take them into account in your designs and estimates.

To apply for this role, you:

  • Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences or Business Engineering.
  • Have strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a team.
  • Communicate fluently in Dutch or French and English and adapt your style to your target audience.
  • Easily adapt your communication to the changing context, with an open mind to diversity

Technical skills

    • You have experience in converting Business strategy into a Technology strategy.
    • You are able to translate this into business capabilities and (architectural) roadmaps.
    • You have stakeholder management experience ranging from the development teams to senior management and business stakeholders.
    • Experience in banking & insurance domains such as securities, financial markets or data is a plus but not a requirement.
    • You have experience with ITIL or IT4IT, TOGAF and ArchiMate.
