EcoVadis evaluates the environmental, social and governance aspects of organizations’ activities. Achieving this bronze status means that DigiTribe is among the top 35% of the 100,000 rated companies currently in the EcoVadis network. It’s an achievement we are obviously very proud of.
But why is scoring well on sustainability so important nowadays?
With a view to a climate-neutral Europe by 2050, the European Commission developed the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which obliges companies with a certain annual turnover and company size to report the impact of their activities on people and the environment.
Even though DigiTribe is not yet covered by this obligation, we are deliberately and proactively stepping into this story. We want to be ready for the future and meet customers who are already obliged to report on this. It is part of our image, who we are and what we want to stand for. Moreover, it exposes numerous new opportunities and working points that, if handled carefully, can only lead to better results and cost savings.
Naturally, we would like to thank all our employees for contributing to this great recognition. It is through our joint efforts and attention for social responsibility that we as a company have achieved such a result. Moreover, we see this milestone as a motivation to continue striving for even better results in terms of sustainability in 2024 and beyond.
